Can only comment on my Highfield Patrol 600. I tow on teh back of an old Rav4. Tows easily enough with no dramas. Ran the rig onto a weigh bridge and with 70% fuel came in at 1400kg.
Performance wise, 38 knts WOT and around a litre per mile seems to be what I'm getting so far.
Still very new so lots to bed in and play with but works for me.

Depends on what you want to do & where you want to go & with how many. The 585 is a great all rounder, easy to tow & launch. The 6.8 is a real offshore workhorse if you need the floor space. The 6.4 doesn’t quite know what it wants to be & would be 3rd in the lineup. For the record I’ve owned a 585 & 6.4, I’d choose the 585 over the 6.4.

Save yourself time (if you have the room and a Tow Vehicle) ...effort...and regrets
6.8 is the way to go

Nothing per se, but out of the OP’s lineup it’s the “weakest” candidate imho. The 585 is a ground up design, in that the mould was designed to be a 585, so the proportions are all in order. The 6.4 is a stretched 585 & has a large flat planing pad from around 2/3rds along the keel to the stern. This reduces the power requirements as the hull will plane with lower HP, but it can be hard in certain conditions due to lack of “V”.
The 6.8 is the next mould up & is a completely different hull to the 6.4.

Aye the website is only a guide, they’ll build you anything you want. The 545 hasn’t been listed for years, but they still build ‘em to order[emoji6]

I've been pondering these three too. I'd like a little more space than the 585 as well as a bit more length in the hope of a better ride but the 6.8 is just too big, too wide and too expensive in comparison. It's nae easy! Especially in a year when test drives seem hard to come by.

Are you commissioning a new boat or buying a pre-loved boat Harley?
Ribcraft had a 2001 6.8 on their site, but for £69,600 - the bench seat looks like it was ripped from a double decker!
https://ribcraft.co.uk/used_vehicle/ribcraft_6-8m_pro/
My advice before you part with your hard-earned cash, is try to get out on all boats on your short-list. Beer tokens accepted.
