Ribcraft deck fittings

Having almost definatley sold our existing boat we are now after a bigger one, something in the region of 6m but no bigger than 6.5m. We have already test driven a ribcraft 5.85 and loved it however ribcraft fiberglass bond all there fittings, consoles, seating etc. to the deck. Is it possible to fit different seating layouts or would that need the whole deck tearing up and relaying with the new fittings?

Also, any boat recomendations? any makers to avoid?

Nope. Cut off the fittings and then fit whatever you want in their place.

I agree with JWalker on this i was thinking of doing exactly the same thing and spoke with Jason at Ribcraft about buying a second hand boat and having them fit out the consoul and seat arrangments that i wanted, he said it would be no problem to do the work !!
