Ribcraft price?
I am considering selling my virtually
new looking 2012 Ribcraft 90hp Suzuki, fully loaded, with trailer very low hours maybe 300 hours, any idea of what it would fetch ?

I'd venture an asking of approximately what it cost new, with a drop back of 10% for Winter and Haggling.
IMHO

Hmm - nearly new price for a 10 year old rib? Sounds optimistic, but you never know. Nice looking boat though. Is it a 5.3?

Assuming it’s a 5.3 I would say around 20k. Bit more bit less. Although very smart looking From the photo it looks a bit light on the electronic front to say fully loaded but a solid boat for anyone all the same

Plenty of older boats sold for more than they cost new. No idea on the cost 10 years ago & cost today but I'd imagine new cost less 10% would be less than half todays cost which probably makes the calculation about right

When I sold my rib I was aware that you will only get what people are prepared to pay so since I had spent a fair bit upgrading it I put it up at £3000 more than I paid for it after 6 years very optimistic I know because I was in no rush I waited for the right buyer we ended up with me making £500 more than I paid for the original boat so it cost me £2500 for six years boating plus servicing etc the enjoyment we got out of it was well worth it. Smart looking boat.
Given the demand for 2nd hand Ribs in good condition, Ribcrafts in particular, and with the 2x2 layout, in this market if I were a seller I'd be pitching the initial price on the high side and gauge interest.
Might be worth looking at some brokerage sites to see prices on similar size / marques.
Are planning to get another boat? If so remember the premium you may get as a seller will hit you as a buyer.
