Ribex 2005

Anybody planning a mass trip to RIBEX 2005 this year? It's not long off and the forum has been quiet. Last year was fun but i guess it took a lot of organising and nobody wants to take it on.

Sounds good,

I'll be helping out on the Ribnet stall! See you all there, ( remember rolled up copy of boat mart under the left arm not the right!!) We could all wear badges with our user names on them or maybe just a cross hair target on the backs of our anoraks....well I've got one

Ribex 2005

i guess it took a lot of organising and nobody wants to take it on

Hi Everyone,

As you may already know I organised last year's trip to Ribex with the help of Daniel (Top Bannna).

The biggest problem was booking accommodation, setting prices & guarantying Berthing. As at the time the event organisers would only take bookings from Commercial outfits and not visiting groups.

Unfortunately with my current workload in my new job I am unable to take it on for this year.

If anyone else is wanting or D*^$ enough I have still got a lot of the contact details at home and I will of course offer any advice I can.

One word of caution do underestimate the time involved to organise this

Regards

Kevin.

Kevin,

You did a great job .... thanks again.

We could still plan a round island cruise etc without doing the hotel thing. I guess we could arrive and use the RIBEX visitor berths.

Guys

I will be happy to take out for a rib ride any fellow members who are anxious to know what it is like to have a Mercury Verado 225 on the transom of a Parker 750RS rib Just make yourself known to me at the show

I am being extra careful with Ribex coming up so not to put my foot in the wrong place , I just could not bear another Ribex with a leg in a cast
