I like the fact it's at Cowes as I can make a day of it with the Kids like I did this year.

But it's commercially inaccessible for shore based exhibits like Chandler's etc, and I'd like to see more of these in the future.

Besides we've got the RIB and sports boat show next weekend to go to, and that's free entry

What about Southampton or Port Solent?

I like Cowes too but wonder if it's too much of a fag for some to get to?

Lets start an 'informed' debate for want of a better word!! How about somewhere more north for a change? I know the majority of Ribbers are southern based but there are a fair number up here in the sticks that would support such an event.
Light blue touch paper and retire!!

Despite liking having to get the boat out and making a day of it I'd definately vote for a mainland venue. Much more likely to get ALOT more exhibitors and therefore alot more punters through the door. Only way the event will suceed / survive, and another year like this and I would think this show might be in Jeapordy, not sure I would rush back again..............

It's the same with RYA major events all in the south.
It called the North south divide.
I am from the south Coast and noticed that it seems there,s no sea this end of the country.
However I think some boat jumbles get close but I guess sellers will go anywhere to peddle their wares.
