ribex

hey people
I loved Ribex. Especialy the journey to it (from Holland).
We were there with 3 ribs (revenger, ribcraft and a bolero)
We slept and drunk much to much in the Anchor inn.
Cowes is a nice place.
I problably saw lots of ribnet people over there but ofcourse didn't recognice you.
I love my optimax. She did a very good job. No problems at all.
Maybe next year I can meet up with some of you to drink a beer.

here some photo's of the last stop over in Brighton.
(again sorry for poor language.

Ribex

Guys,

Glad you had a good time at RIBEX. That must have been a good trip for you all. Cowes is indeed a very good place to enjoy yourselves and drink too much!

Next time you are coming to the UK put out a thread & I'm sure someone will meet up with you.

By the way, you do not need to apolgise for your language. It appears to be better than a lot of people who post here. Me included!

Hi Niels. Glad you made it to RIBEX and sorry that you did not make yourself known specially since the Ribnet conference was on and there were many members around. Anyway pleased you liked our beer.

Tells us about your route , where did you start, distance, how long it took you to get here and then back. What weather did you experience . Where did you cross the channel?
any pictures of the crossing

I am interested to know cos will be heading for the Baltic in July

Andre

crossing

We went by trailer to Graveline(France) because we had only one week.
We left on thursday to Brighton. We didn't took photo's then because it was very bumpy. Very nice place Brighton. Friday we left for Cowes.
Then sunday we went back to Dover(what a boring place).
And the next day to France again with beautiful weather and a very calm sea as you can see.
We enjoyed it very much and are looking for a new cruise(maybe longer) for next year. maybe scilly isles!!

greetings

Niels, I can't believe you're not watching your team against the Fatherland. Just to let you know, van Nistelrooy pulled a stonker out of the bag to level it 1-1. Boy, were you Dutchies lucky to scrape a draw tonight, ze Germans were all over you like a rash.
