Ribeye 500 Playtime

Hi, could do with some advice. Thinking of buying a Ribeye 500. Whilst it's my first rib I want something for the "summer" - fishing, ringo's etc and also for more challenging conditions. This ribs got a Yam 80 ( max allowable) but I'm not too sure it's big enough? I was thinking of a 5.5m as a min but does an extra 0.5m make any difference apart from deck space and a larger motor. The beams are the same. Wait for your advice. Have a budget of around £15k. Really would appreciate some advice. Cheers Simon

ribeye is a exelent choice but i would go for at least a 100hp yami on a 5.5 or 115 on a 6m

if it's Ribeye you want £15,000 buys you the 600 with Yam 115 for sure. Plenty about circa 2005-2007 at that money.
