Good luck with the Boat!
+1 I thought it was just me

agree with replacing self tappers for jobs like that, counter sunk bolts with washers n lock nuts is the way to go, apart from anything else the sharp end of a self tapper can do some damage when you are fumbling in the dark trying to find the bits you've just dropped

Hmm, yeah, there is that! And with my clumsyness, coupled with two young boys running around I think it best to hide anything that can damage me! (Oh yeah, or the boys)!

young boys will always find something to damage themselves on, and if it's makes you feel any better when they get to 26 they are even worse, the toys just get bigger and more expensive

That's all those jobs done! The only extra one I found was the wire to the anchor light had come out of the crimp so I did that too.

All that remains is to clean it thoroughly, but that can wait til after the maiden voyage tomorrow!

Enjoy tomorrow - Ive still got a few small jobs to finish off. Like connecting the radio to the power, fitting the antenna and figuring out why both bilge pumps dont work.

Yup, but they are proper jobs, lining up wires that were fine before and swopping cable ties that were not the right colour was just fetteling for the sake of it

Hopefully the bilge pumps not working is a fuse.
