Ribeye 600 Valuation?
What's a nice condition 2004 Ribeye 600 with Yamaha 115 4 stroke 300hrs and roller trailer worth approximately?

If you can get a new-style (i.e. post 2007 change) A600 for only £2-3k more then I really don't see £16k being a realistic value for a 2003, regardless of its condition and upgrades. In the last 6 months I know of a couple of 2009/10 boats that have sold quickly at advertised prices les than £20k, albeit fairly basically-equipped ones.
I wouldn't get too fussed about having a 115, it'll only give you a knot or 2 extra at WOT. Buying a more recent 100 is probably better value for money, especially if you can get the newer style.

Ribeye 600 Valuation?
Jesus! Is there no end to knocking people on here?
Ok, I came up with a price based on what I paid 2 years ago plus upgrades and a new higher capacity trailer. A simple "I don't think your boat is worth x because of......... And a better price of y might be more appropriate" would be better than snide remarks.
Good luck in your search Superjetjim, and if you were interested we could discuss the price, but maybe away from here.

Man up man! That was a tickle not a knock.
Back in the day, you would've been hammered to bits by the old guard for letting a inaccurate or slightly daft comment go. This place is lightly perfumed and lined with cotton wool these days.

Package prices tend to be determined by the age of the boat and to a lesser degree, the engine. A new trailer is nice but it rarely attracts a large premium. New electronics are generally overlooked. You seem to be a couple or three grand over the odds for a smallish eleven year old RIB. That said, it's a Ribeye and fresh fish families are always looking for a nice one

Pikey, it was the "About 16k" with a wink and a link to my thread.
I hardly ever post on here now due to the fact that whenever I do a select few take potshots at me. I'm sure I've ruffled feathers at some point and now seem to take flak whenever I say anything.

Chill out guys!
Things can get a bit intense on this forum. We are all friends (aren't we) and In the end we only want to offer you be best advice we can. I see a rib like the OP's being worth about £13,000
Sorry if that's not want you to hear, but you did ask!
Kind regards
Steve

That's fine. I can take that, at least it's constructive.
There are certain aspects of boating I won't miss once I've sold it.

Man alive! There should be a block on threads with "valuation" in the title! Even if the boat in question doesn't belong to a user, it always ends up in a ruck between the fans/owners of various marques!
