Hannah I know someone who is going to be selling there 6m Ribeye with a 100hp Yammaha four stroke. The boat is in very good condition, has low hours and comes with trailer and all over cover.
If you were intrested why not have a look at the Revenger 715 its a superb little rib to drive and i know someone who is selling one as well which has been used for a demo boat.

Dear Hannah,
As you have heard, there are many excellent makes of Ribs available.
I have owned various types of boats for years. I currently own a 7.5m Ribeye which is superb, great quality, great everything. I love it.
My after sales service has been excellent, wuth Ribeye themselves being excellent, along with the supplying dealer Lansdale Marine in Chichester...and the boat and engine is now looked after by Chas Newens Marine in Putney who do a great job caring for the Rib with spare support from Ribeye.
From my experience, I would certainly recomend a Ribeye

The following two points occur to me:
1. You have been very happy with your Ribcraft.
2. Why therefore change brands? From what people say, views are mixed on Ribeye and the emphasis has been placed on service rather than the brand itself. Why, Therefore, dont you just get a bigger Ribcraft?

Hannah,
I had a 4.8m Ribcraft, followed by 2 Ribeyes (7.2 & 5.8), I am now back with a 6.5m Ribcraft which is 100% A1 even after a years heavy useage.
I think that says alot.

first of all its not me thats buying the rib its dad , im only 13 , i think we just wanted to try another brand of ribs , especially attracted to ribeye cos of its nice new modern design and it just looked good in the water. But after having heard about alot more brands we are still undecided and we will probebly stick with our 5.3 ribcraft for another year yet though.

Everyone has different views on Ribeyes , some good and some bad , this makes buying any brand very confusing because everyone has so many different opinions!!!

IMHO I don't think Ribeye are worth the money they charge for them. The few I've been on were horrible at rest (rocky) and at speed (bangy, slammy). As has been mentioned the build quality is not too good when compared to most UK makes and most UK makes can be had at a much better price.
Do some homework, test drive lots of different makes and make an informed desicion based on which you were happiest in. I'm sure you can blag some rides from some of the guys on here .
