Ribeye a550

Hey all - I am thinking about selling my Valiant V450 and upgrading to a larger boat. I have been looking at the Ribeye a550 / 600 which will give me plenty of space for the family (4 of us) and the confidence to travel further a field around the Solent and Isle of Wight I really like the set up, with the back seat and jokey seas by the helm. Looking at a few 2005 onward versions - what's peoples views on the a550? all recommendations welcome!

Thanks Withers!

RIBase
I know nowt about Ribeye A550/A600. What I do know is they have dual jockeys so you can sit side by side and they seem to hold their value, probably because they specialise in super-yacht tenders. Normally 80-115hp.

If seating is your aim, then should do what you’re looking for. Avon Adventure 5.6m did side by sides but relatively shallow V hull.

Ribcraft do a 5.3m with dual jockeys by relatively scarce and never seen one with rear bench and probably tight for what you’re looking for. 5.85m would be a good shout, but likely to be utilitarian in set up.

I have just done exactly that - fortunate to be in a position to now own an A550 with 100HP Yamaha.
First impressions over the past 4 weeks - Fantastic. Family of 4 and the dog plenty of room / storage is great with lots of room under the rear seat and the two jockey seats. Rides really well in the chop and stable when at anchor. Appreciate they hold there value, but I am very happy with what we have.
