It's nice to know there are so many people that want to be part of this, it makes it worth the effort sorting it out. I'm really looking forward to it now.
I'm expecting a menu from the restaurant over the next couple of days which I'll post so you can see what sort of choice there will be.
I'll also have at that stage a final cost which I'm expecting to be between 」25 and 」30 per head.
Obviously this won't incude drinks. We've found in the past that it's best to let everybody pay for, and be responsible for, their own drinks at the bar.
A 」5 deposit per head will be required at some point, but I'm not expecting to have to supply it for a while yet.
In a couple of weeks time I'll send out PMs to all who have shown an interest with my postal address for deposits.
You can either send me a cheque, cash, or whatever you like.
By mid January I'll need choices from the published menu, and the balance of the cost of the meal.
Unfortunately I must insist that payment is made up front, otherwise I end up covering the balance on the night and then having to hassle people after the event to pay up. And believe me this has happened on more than one occasion.
If anyone has any questions please feel free to PM me or ask on this thread.
Nasher

Pete has it due to the number of times he managed to get his bow line wrapped around his prop.

Hi Nasher
I'm keen to come by boat from Poole but Mrs A still needs some persuading on both the outward and the return trip.
Whether by boat or car, however, we'll both be there,so count us in!

Andy, bent prop safely stored in our garage, Viv won't have it in the house for some strange reason oh for the days when Rogue Wave would come round with a Tohatsu 90 which would be then stored in me kitchen
Anyway I have been instructed that "we" are attending, if it is all right for a yachtie to attend a Ribnet bash

Well, I'm not entirly sure who is eligable for the Bent prop award this year. Other than 3 little mishaps my last time out, I've had a very uneventful year, luckily.
Old Spices Engine blowing up didn't count as it wasn't in a RIBnet members hands when it happened.
So where does this leave us.....Any suggestions?

What about Neilda??
Whilst prop did not get bent, he must be up for "most spectacular exit of a RIB" award!
Had the RIB continued uncommanded for just a little longer, the prop (and RIB) would have been well and truely ****ed.

Apologies for the lack of movement on this, but I知 back on the case now.
I now have a menu which is attached below. The Lightship have agreed to carry over their Christmas menu for us so it will feel a little festive hopefully.
Cost has been confirmed at 」25 per head.
Can I ask for deposits please of 」5 per head over the next week or so, and then I値l need payment in full before the night.
As previously mentioned Cheques etc can be made out to me, or The Lightship if preferred.
Can I ask that you PM me if you壇 like to post a cheque and I値l PM back my address.
Nasher.

Menu looks great and we're still up for this: response from everyone else looks a little sluggish.....
All things being equal, I'm minded to let you have a cheque now for the full amount for me and Mrs A. Please PM your address to send it to (or let me know how to make payment alternatively).
Do you need to know menu choices at this stage or do we order on the night?
David

We are going along and I am hoping it only looks sluggish, ecause we are all PM'ing and therefore not showing up on the thread
See you there
