Ribnet member of the year?
There really are some all round good eggs on here who go the extra mile for others or are just pure comedy.
http://www.rib.net/forum/f19/chris-s...lch-55480.html
What with the above thread, I wonder who deserves it:
Chris - quiet on here but yet so helpful
Biffer - time served helper quoted so many times
Willk - did I just write that!

All the above are very worthy contenders I'm sure
But......With a total of £6K+ and still rising surely it's hats off to Whisper !
Well done that man

Gonna sit on the fence here, (at least til Whisper comes along, calls me a nobber, pushes me off and tells me to get on with my boat!) and say these sound very much like the Ribnet Christmas Dinner trophies.

I know how you feel Nos the constant abuse gets to you after a while I cry myself to sleep most nights. That lanky ginger nobber
However he has done an amazing job with the macmillan charity and deserves a pat on the back
If only he spent as much time practicing his boating skills he would be half decent. (Just been told a great story) Whisper how was your yesterday?

No no no sorry Ian, I have heard this second hand, unfortunately for Whisper Mrs W let the cat out of the bag to PeterM so I will let Pete the Jackanory Master tell it with full details. With Pete telling it this should mean Whisper and PeterM are level pegging again after the rib nobber trouser thread in the bilges.

I think 'El Ginge' is in the running - maybe the prize can a PB1 course for him ?
However I'll admit to having falling victim to 'throwing something out the boat before checking its actually tied on or connected'.....(do we have an Anchor smilie ? )
Oh and I've made his recovery efforts public on youtube.....to be fair it was a cracking crosswind and tide ( but I still did it without making a nobber or myself )
