This Guy seems to be well informed. Get past his very annoying intro, and his videos are good ,and as he has a workshop and is mercury certified .....then he is a good a source as any. he has several vids on the optimax and the only reason I know is I'm in the middle of buying a optimax 75hp.
Hi all, been to look at a Ribquest 6.3. Looks a great RIB.
It has a Mercury optimax 115 hp 1.5L engine. What's people's thoughts on these engines TIA.
If it's a Ribquest built in the Dave Rose era, it'll be a sound well built boat.
Re. the engine, can't comment on the engine per se as I'm not familiar with them, but I'd say that it could do with about another 50horses. A 115 on that 6.3 isn't going to set the world alight.
