Has a rib or ribs featured in any novels or major films?

Thanks

Last one I read was Trojan Odyssey it had a RIB in about 2/3s in. I'm considering making my diving club a gift of my Pitt books collected thus far, however it will ofcourse require a librarian in keeping with the books....

In the film 'Dogs of War' that well known bed time story for the under 5's there is a beach landing using inflatables - driven by actors. As they assult up the beach you can see one of the support staff running between boats turning the engines off as they are high and dry up the beach!!

As for books will have to reread McNab and co

Below shows the RIBs built for Sahara, a couple were badly abused. They all went up for sale a while ago. Just look at that sunbed, very Medline, sorry MeMe !

The Hunton was featured in last months ???? magazine, can't remember the title but saw there was an article on it complete with bullet holes in the upholstery to add that extra value.

Quite right about XXX 2, Vin Diesel chose to do Chronicles of Riddick (Pitch Black 2) instead. Ice Cube assumes the title role. There were some comments regarding the forward raked A frame which did look odd.

I have been pitching my RIB for a modern day piracy feature, perhaps will be appealing for some extras if it gets the green light.

Maybe it's time for an updated remake of Swallows and Amazons...could be a good title for an adult film, sorry, that was in bad taste...
