NONSENSE......dont go back to that dealer.

We previously had a redbay 7.4 with a 165hp yamaha turbo diesal and we could easily pull out 2 begginer wakeboarders at the same time, we also did a spot of mono skiing behind it.

My 5.5m Northcraft with Suzuki 100 2-stroke easily pulls 2 skiers out, or a deep water mono start. Often have 5 on board and 1 in the water with no problems at all.
It's not such an issue with larger craft, but smaller hardboats (closed bow) can have difficulty getting onto the plane pulling a skier (especially off a ski pole) as the stern tends to bury itself. This can be overcome easily on a rib by moving some of the weight (crew, fuel, etc.) towards the bow.
IMO ribs are much more versatile all round than hardboats and pulling skiers is certainly no exception to this.

No problem at all from 7.7m 1250kg plus fuel and 4 people pulling up 2 medium sized mono skiers with a 225 Opti! If you're in my area of the South West I'll come with you to the dealer!

I've never heard so much happy horse sh*t in all my life...that dealer needs a slap with a wet kipper.

I learnt (from scratch) behind my 3.4m flatacraft that had a 1987 25hp yamaha on the back and two people on board. If it can be done behind that, I reckon it could just about be done behind a 225hp RIB!
