River Severn Bash - Upton-on-Severn, Worcestershire. Saturday 11th May.

Gosh you lot are busy boys.

Bill will be launching his Avon for the first time. He hasn't got an engine yet but we will try it out with mine.

Any news on an outboard for Bill yet Scubakid?

It seems that nobody is comminig. Grab a plane, come to Greece and meet me at the airport. We have the whole weekend to explore some sites under the burning Med sun. Under water activities also available.

Someone up there doesn't like me! (A lot of people down here don't like you either [this is the voice in Keith's head speaking]).

Well now Bill can't make it! I don't care I'm going on my own.

So I telephone Upton Marina just to check. Guess what? The ruddy slip at Upton is out of action this week!!!

Nothing is going to stop me getting out on the River Severn this weekend. I'm going on Sunday from the slipway at Kempsey instead. I telephoned them and they're glad to have me (they don't know you, that's why [perishin' voice again]).

So I WILL have a good time even if I'm on my own.

If all else fails - a nice trip would be to launch at Bristol Marina and have a nice trip arround Bristol Floating harbour - you can also go up the Avon out of Bristol
