RNLI busy again

Just reading reports for this weekend and I see this-Three men in a boat! Drunk revellers in rubber dinghy rescued after floating for 11 hours in the English Channel. They dropped their little inflatable in at 9pm last night and were found at 8am today out from Littlehampton- Good Video on RNLI showing the recovery of the three, no equipment etc etc- how lucky they are alive.

we were in Brighton Marina today at lunchtime and saw the inshore go out for a training excercise and then go out later on what appeared to be a shout, was about 14.00

WTF, They are so lucky.

No equipment, not even a boat just a kids toy better of suited for a swimming pool.

Great work RNLI, Life savers.

Very lucky and extremely ignorant, I wonder who spotted them and raised the alert.
The RNLI are fantastic.

So far we have had 3 shouts in the last two weeks relating to NGNI's (No Gear No Idea).

Kids on play kayaks, and local shop inflatables floating out in to deep water and the offshore currents.

Scary how they see it as funny.....

Hope they stick hands into pockets for your time and fuel for selling these dangerous stupid items with no comeback on them when someone dies.
