sounds really interesting - and might just have something suitable by then. Also have a few boat builder clients who could be interested.

Is it RIBs only - or open to other classes?

It would be interesting to know what classes of boats you intend to have - In my opinion it would be an advantage to run the same as the UK / (Proposed) UIM endurance classes plus any additional classes you would want to run, it would certainly increase the potential entry size.

think about it

We will be running with UIM endurance classes plus an additional class. The official announcement and classes will be announced at the Irish boat show,
it should be a great event.

Think about it...

Finish work on friday head to Ireland on Saturday or Sunday, Waterford close to Fishguard short trip on the Irish side

Monday launch your boat and check her out ,see if you can get that last knot or two.

Tuesday with race registration and safety brief and a good bit of Irish fun.

Wednesday stage 1 Waterford to Fenit around 215 nm of some of the most beautiful coastal scenery in Ireland, then on to the first stage winners awards and refreshments.

Thursday stage 2 Fenit to killybegs around 190 nm of real offshore racing and the only thing between you and the united states is the atlantic ocean!! Then second stage winner awards and refreshments

Friday stage 3 Killybegs to Bangor around 180nm the shortest stage but don't let that fool you !! then third stage winner awards and refreshments

Saturday stage four Bangor to Waterford around 205nm the finish and the winners awards cermony. It could be you we are toasting!!

Sunday back home with some great memories of boat race in Ireland

regards Phillip
