rubbing strake cleaning
any advice on cleaning ribs, not necessarily the tubes, the rubbing strakes, would be very welcome!

Soft Green pad and tfr..do not use green pad on tubes!!

Just used Autoglym Bumper and Trim Gel from Halfords and got a great result on our Shearwater

Nick, silicone makes future glued repairs very difficult. Assuming your stuff contains silicone that is.

Mine was very yellow (originally light grey). I used Island Girl Sea Glow (I sent off to Hawaii to get it) with grey Norton pads. Worked well but slightly weird stuff to use!
