We were out the weekend and when I get some pictures from others I'll post them up.
We have a seat in front of the console, it's regularly used, and anyone sat there is instructed to use the step in front of them to put ther feet against, ensure said feet are under the webbing strap and they are using the handle supplied. We have a rein style handle that works a treat, for us, on my boat, when we're out.
We also have a bow locker that we often but a cushion on, it's a comfy spot in the flat and that is when we let it be used. You're sat below the tubes in the main, and when the kids use it, fully below the tubes.
As helm I'll make the decision when both are safe to be used, if some one is in the console seat and not using the foot position correctly or the handle, they get educated.
If I think it's not safe, we get cuddly on the double seats, if I'm happy, we continue. Would I use the console seat without the handle? Not a hope, something is needed to enable the user to brace and be secure.
