If the Batson Creek trailer park is full (still worth phoning to check though), you might be able to arrive early in the morning and pay for a space in their "trailer compound" (on the left, just before you turn into the the trailer park) and leave your car in the public car park.

Give the harbour office a call they should still be there. If not then check with the attendant at Batson slip in the morning. If that fails give Ocean Leisure Storage a call and ask for Nick he should be able to sort you a space for your trailer and he is not expensive.

Hi Bumble
I did try phoning just now - everything seems to be full for cars etc.
They lock that trailer park at 1700 which is a pest when its a late high water.
My current plan is to take the car and trailer rig back to the farm where I keep the boat and cycle back down to the slip! Best find my bike lock

Stick it in the park & ride up at the top of the town!
But I would have thought you will be ale to get it in the trailer park in the morning!
Just leave me some room as I will be down sunday morning.
Nick

Fingers crossed for tomorrow morning, will take the bike down to Devon anyway - might even get a cheeky ride in
Which part of the fleet are you launching on Sunday Nick?
We're afloat on Saturday and Monday.

Ribeye is already on the water, bring the SR4 down with us & may get the Bombard out too as it went away a bit sharpish at Easter & has been sitting in the shed since!

You obviously haven't seen the sign about trailer at the park and ride then ................. definitely not an option.

Managed to get the trailer in the trailer park, and found a space in the pay and display.
What is it with people parking at the exit to the boat park on the double yellows. Squeezed out by an inch tonight, any bigger boas would have taken the wing of the car parked there.
On a different note, we we hit by a Boston Whaler this evening on the Batson pontoon, we were moored. They've managed to well and truly crack the engine cowling on the boat, are these repairable or is it a new one? Either way an insurance job :-(

Last year the council started clamping trailers left in the park and ride and banned from being there
