Sale Water Park..
I will test my boat at sale water park, as it is on my door step.
1 hour in morning mon to fri, no speed limit....£15....
Could be handy for prop selection etc. for Manchester area boaters...
How different is a ribs performance in fresh or salt water?

There must be some theoretical difference. But as you say, no real...

You also have Hollingworth Lake, they do 'engine test' bookings by appointment.

Fresh water is less buoyant. You should see a slight performance drop in fresh. I doubt it will be noticeable. The only fresh water I've run my boat in has been at 4000 feet or higher (which affects the motor), so I don't have a side by side comparison.
Good thing is you don't have to flush the thing afterward.

Yeh, there's loads of theory, but in reality, no difference.
