Why go to London. Its expensive and the trains are always crowded. Get some sea time instead. Much better use of ones money. IMHO.

New Earls Court Boat Show
I am supporting it!
Excel is useless in terms of a venue. Difficult for everyone to get to and in a generally run down area.
I always enjoyed the earls court show and I think they deserve a chance at reviving it!
Yes, big names. Cowes hign street reproduction, for example.
Southampton is superb, and I will always go there.
Earls court in winter reminds us all what boating is all about!

Excel is just as easy to get to from London Waterloo as Earls Court.

There was a a lot of promotional stuff for the new show at the power boat racing the weekend. Not sure two shows in London in two months is good for the sport.

To quote John McEnroe:
You can't be serious!
I personally, and it is a personal thought, think Excel is a nightmare to get to! It takes ages.
And, yes, as it happens, Waterloo is our station!

Same amount of tube stops and Excel is on a more modern and line, having done both for various expos over the last few years there cant be more than 5 minutes either way depending on how lucky you are tube timings.
