A while since I was last time at SBS and would be interested to see the new setup of the show although recession will probably set its mark on the show.

Will be there on Monday and Tuesday on my press pass

Anyone going to be there those days ?

That is really bad, it will be such hard work trying to park.

Could almost be enough to put some people off going.

We went on the train two years ago, cheaper than the car parking and the station is only 3 minutes from the show enterance.

I did the park & ride last year - it was a waste of time- an hour from the car park , in an old bus , having queud in the field for 20 mins.

I could see that the city centre car parks were empty and cheaper then the park & ride !

I'll be driving & parking on Sunday !

Maybe this is why it was abandoned - it was crap ! ( In my opinion ...)

I did park and ride last year and was easy. Just outside the show entrance was a Multi story car park, it looked empty the day I went, it was mid week however.

Might well be worth stopping at Hythe and getting the ferry over if you're comming from the West.

Park and Ride has been good for us the last few years.

Just off the M271.
Park up and wait 5 mins for a bus.
15 min journey to right outside the show main entrance.

Don't know what one Blackroady was on, but it never took an hour.

Will be parking up at Fareham and going in by train tomorrow.

Went to the show today, bumped into a few Rib.net members.
Bogi, Andre, Nautibouy, Doug Stormforce, etc. Plus a few current workmates and a few old ones.
Its nice to wander round somewhere and meet people

Petes train suggestion was a good one.
Free parking at Fareham station(Sunday) and £10.80 for all 4 of us to Southampton central probably meant we saved money over petrol and parking.

The show seamed a little less busy than Sundays on other years we've been, so it was a little more relaxing.
After falling for it at RIBEX Mrs Nasher plucked up the courage to go on board the Articblue 37 when I managed to blag the four of us on. The smaller Nashers liked the telly in the cabin.
What a fantastic RIB that is, but a lottery win dream for us.

All in all a good show, plenty for the kids to do, but some things were missing from previous years. Honda didn't have the usual array of different vehicles, and the Andark tank was not there.
Little Nasher and Middle Nasher both like playing with as many Chart plotters they can get their hands on, and credit to a lot of the sales guys, they were willing to spend time with them if they saw them.

Premier marinas do a free park and ride service from Swanick Marina on the Hamble. You park for free, and they have nice leather seated air conditioned coaches running to the show every 20 minutes or so. Its all free!

You are welcome, sorry the circuit ride was soo slow, will have to take you for a proper blast next time I see you.

we had 54 knots, 14 up today :-) obviously not round the 24 knot circuit
