Sbs 2022
Usual question:
Does anyone have a promo code that works for this years event?
Going on Thursday 22nd Sept.
Not an official senior citizen yet, and only semi-retired, so can't claim a discount based on my advancing years!
Thanks

There is usually a two for one offer which i have taken in the past ,if it comes up i could buy two and sell one to you for 1/2 price
I will keep an eye out as i like to call on the ribcraft stand and look at all the new developments

Thanks OB
The 2 for 1 offer is usually offered by the RYA, but I've heard they are not doing it this year.
I'll put off ordering my ticket for a while.

I'm going on Wednesday 21 September 2022 if anybody else is and would like to meet up. Boatfolk are offering two free tickets to berth holders this year.

Anyone been to the show?
Anything you'd say it's really worth seeking out, that might not be immediately obvious?
Looking at the exhibitor list and map I'm a little worried it will just be 'Da Jar Vue' from last year - again.
Will be there from @10.00hrs tomorrow morning until I think I've seen all I want to.

I went yesterday. 400+ mile round trip. Definitely a good show, not much in the way of small traders inside but was definitely a good day

Here now. 650+ mile round trip. Haven’t been for a couple of years but there are more RIB’s here than I remember. Glad I came.

Thanks Chaps.
Only @50m round trip for me, so shouldn't really be that worried.
I should probably be more worried about my lunchtime Bacon roll and diet Coke breaking the bank.

Went yesterday ,and after considering giving it a miss i really enjoyed it especially with the ribs , certainly was a few shocks ,brigg had found some stock somewhere ,the cutaway ally deck on the highfield stand was amazing ,XS were showing some fair value for money with a nice 6m and trailer with two suspension seats for 54k inc vat , but shock of the show for me was R/C stand ,got given a pen and a cap nice ,and the below leaflet guess they are fed up with people (like me ) just asking the price of a 585 ,looks like some of the old timers have left ,and unusually they still have 2 of their four show boats for sale at 22k plus vat for a 4.8 m, draw your own conclusion
Picture 2 looks fine but the price says plus vat

Also paid a visit yesterday, regular pre covid but first post covid visit…got to address those withdrawal symptoms!
Worth the 380mile round trip in my book and a big thanks to the guys at Boatworld for the complimentary ticket…liking the stand and the new to you Compass range of hard sports boats…nice. Quite tempted but worried we’d miss the sea keeping of the rib.
Good to see the regulars plus a few new kids on the block…agree a bit down on the small traders for a few bargain odds ‘n’ sods but a good wander nonetheless.
Never to leave without buying something we really don’t need…this year a pretty cool Aquaglide Chelan 120 inflatable Kayak.
