SBS trailer

Hello all.

Some advice needed. I have my ribeye 6m on a SBS R2-EL1300 roller trailer. The brakes need replaced and looking at the hubs and swing arm, they look very rusted. Not sure how long they have been like this as the boat is new to me. It looks like I could buy a replacement axle from SBS, but surely they don't make it? Any thoughts? Towing the boat with no brakes is not ideal!!

Thanks

Stephen

put a picture of the axle up , i ththink its a Al-KO axle on sbs , mainly knott on snipe i think , you may find a suitable axle (not alko ) on ebay with indespension ,or i suspect peak trailers will quote you , check your side runner distance apart ,and the pcd of your wheels and if you can match these ,add new brake cables and you may have a good result , i have ordered a bespoke axle from Al-ko via a dealer and it was a little slow but perfect to dimensions and sealed for life bearings ,i have also bought a couple of ready made stock clearance £205 1300kg axles from indespension on ebay and had next day , personally nothing rides as well as an alko axle though
