Often and contentious subject on here but i was shown around their new factory this afternoon in Lymington. Very impressed with what they had and their set up!
Factory is laid out to allow complete production process in house. separate areas for the various stages of the build process and lots of space to do the job right.
Some lovely ribs in various stages of build and some really interesting design ideas coming through. What struck me was the improvement in finish quality from our old scorpion which was very good anyway! simple things like upholstery stitching and fabric make a real difference.
The boat being finished there looks fantastic and the new owner is going to be a very happy chap!!
really nice to see a british rib builder making a top quality product and exporting as well as supporting the domestic demand! long may it continue!
