Not much only the bow has now been lifted.
There are now 2 x double jockey seats instead of 4 x single jockey seats. Having gained some deck space the the console has now been moved a bit towards midships. The tube colour is Clair Grey (light grey)

First time on the water

Seahawk 3 was put on the water for the first time today. and performed as I have been told very well.

Here are are few pictures on Seahawk 3 enjoying a spin on lake Ostroda

I was pleased to note that our guys had taken to wear lifejackets

The HP of the Mercruiser 1.7 is 120HP and with a 21" LASER prop the Parker 630 will do 32/33 knots max, max revs is 4400 RPM, best cruising speed is 26/28knots
This will be my third demo Parker 630 with the Mercruiser 1.7 TDI
Once I have clocked up some hours and shown it around it will be for sale

as for fuel consumption well a lot has been said on the forum about this engine and all I can add is not a lot and it is the red stuff which I hope will be around for a long time yet

Parker 630 SEAHAWK 3

Well last thursday I drove with my friend Ken to Szczecin in Poland to collect my new demo rib . A drive of 800 miles with return trip planned for saturday evening to take advantage of the strict none truck movements over the weekends in Germany.
We launched the rib in Trzebiez on Saturday morning for a trip up to the coast to circumnavigate the Isle of Wolin. A trip covering about 70 miles of which 20 miles off shore. Fantastic weather only a small chop offshore and lots of sunshine but you could already feel that winter was fast approaching. The boating season in Poland is over so there were no other boats about just us and a few fishing crafts.

We had a great day out and once the rib was recovered we hit the road heading back home

I am very pleased with the performance of the rib max speed offshore in a small chop 34 knots. Just 2 knots better then Seahawk 2 and can't really explain why cos the same engine and prop. (MerCruiser 1.7 (120HP) and 21" Laser prop)

Here are a few shots taken off the coast of Dziwnow, getting the Ok gto go our to sea by the duty officer of the Dziwnow Harbour authority and one in the port of Swinoujscie. You can see the Polish ferries in the background

I am now convinced that winter ribbing is good, providing of course it is not snowing and ice is not covering the surface. Last weekend the condition off LAmpton were perfect and on Sunday I just had to take Seahawk 3 out. Was most impressed cos managed to reach 36.5 knots with just myself on board and half a tank of fuel and the sea was flat like a pancake with just a small riple here and there .

Here are a few shots taken by Phil Chitty. Thanks Phil nice pictures
