Sealant

Replacing fishfinder and need sealant for transom transducer, console etc, I assume you will all shout Sikaflex but do I actually need marine grade? Also want flexible not permanent not 100% sure which grade I need

Any advice?

If you want water in your transom, take a shortcut. The risk isn't worth it to save a fiver.

The new 291i will come off with acetone, but it takes a while. You don't want 'non-permanent' and you definitely want marine grade.

It's good stuff, I use it for pretty much everything. For some reason it won't stick hypalon to hypalon!

My pal used it to fix a rattly ball joint on his car, he got six months out of it.
