There are various claims on the net that Sikaflex is petrol proof.
However the tech spec for sikaflex 291 says it is only suitable for temporary exposure to fuel.

It's to seal the access plate in the top of the tank.

If it's nice and flat, a piece of cornflake packet with a smear of gasket sealant each side. Yeh, really.
Or machine a groove in the top plate and fit an O-ring.

Is fairly flat, just remembered I have some gasket material left hanging in the garage. Will use that then.
