Ok onwards..Next Job.
Take the plunge and order the engine. Spoke to many people (the usual lunatics and some) so thanks for tips and advice.
Only one sleepless night so not too bad. So it was either lie in bed wid da mrs or head to BHG marine in Lymington where they hold a regular Yamaha stroking courses!I chose the latter.. I did recognise a few faces there tho?!!? ![Whistling](https://www.rib.net/forum/images/smilies/whistling.gif)
Opened at 8.30 but I think I must have got there at 6AM.
As soon as I saw her that was that. New Yam f70 was mine.

Thank you Chris.. It goes VERY well also!!
Now for the Rigging.. slightly changed since the two smokes so a few more wires n shit..and the immobiliser to locate and fit Sonar on Transom. Not a fan of drilling transoms but it was a necessary evil as has to be in the water.

It really does float. So that's me done. Hopefully up for a few decent jaunts this year.Very please with the end result. Cost a fortune, far too much time to do it but its an SR4.7 so hopefully I cant destroy it!
1st hour 1000 rpm and less
2nd hour up to 2k and anything inbetween
3rd hmmmm ![speedboat](https://www.rib.net/forum/images/smilies/speedboat.gif) and thats as far as I got

Nice RIB, the Navy had the 4.7 specially built so that they could fit on the canopy deck of a Hunt class minesweeper whilst on fishery protection, had some fun times in the 4.7. Well done top RIB

I did have a little play and it feels like it really wants to go.I would imagine on yours with a 19 pitch prop you should easily get 40+??

'Twas a little rough last time out to fly when I had a working GPS and the times before that the 'new' Garmin was kaput. So I'm waiting now till next year to clock it properly. ...can't wait. I would expect 40 mph though.
