I know I was going to do one big plate for the engine bolts to go through instead of having 4 small plates to spread the load. Could be the same?

Bob - she looks nice but having been to see a number of SR's advertised on eBay amongst others - it's a really good idea to view before you bid - you'll be amazed at what some sellers consider okay!!
If it's far from you - might be worth seeing if a fellow Ribster local to West Yorkshire could take a peek for you.
We spent a long time looking for ours and we finally paid 4k for her but she is in excellent condition - nothing wrong anywhere - many of the SR fans on here all said - hold out and you'll get a goodie - not being terribly patient that was hard but dead chuffed we listened
