Searider 5.4m

Does anybody have any experience of Searider 5.4m with twin 40hp. What sort of speed & fuel consumption? Thanks.

I would think the speed woul dbe OK (30 35 knots ) but the consumption would be high. but if you get the boat for the right price then you can afford a bit of petrol.

at the end of the day twins is nice but cost a lot more to maintain than a single

RIBase
Lots of 4ms for sale at the moment

Lots of 4m Seariders to choose from at the moment - look like good value.

There's even a 4.7m for you Stuart

what is it that makes the Avon 4.7 such a Holy Grail. On every thread as soon as some one mentions 4.7 every one gets all soft and goes on about the one they sold and how they miss it like their old dog.

What is about these that makes them so sort after????

Top speed with 2 up is 30 knots. As for the fuel, we regularly get 5 miles to the gallon conbined engines.
