Searider in the water at last!

I finally got the rib on the water (after 7months of it sat half finished as I went off to uni) managed to get it done in the last 2 days.

Launched it on the local river, 6mph speedlimit, so not really properly tested. However I accidently knocked the throttle for a moment, and saw 30mph on the gps . Went up the river for a bbq. Really happy with the boat.

Still quite alot of work to do. Had problems with the control box, its really stiff, and doesnt rev in reverse. I'm looking forward to some proper trips this summer.

Nice RIB, I had the same problem with my 40HP Mariner (Yamaha 6E9). It was hard to shift into reverse with the control box. Take the second hole in the control box approx 10mm more away from center and try again.

Thanks for that. I will have a look after next weekend when I get back to the rib.
