A worthy looking small sea boat and i'd expect it to excede its reserve price, though i suspect it would reach more in the spring.

after going out on mine yesterday and getting a lot of airtime I can say they are brilliant craft for their size!

Has been on ebay before I believe. No question about the boats abilities, just interesting how it has been set up. They've even managed to squeeze a 4HP aux onto the transom! I didn't think that was possible on a 4m boat with the steering lock of the main engine? Maybe they don't keep it on there all the time. Looks like the Tohatsu is manual tilt which is a bit of a shame. Probably, won't sell this time of year -to close to christmas as Bilge says would reach more in the sping but could be a bargain now.

Ok the 4 horse has to be worth £250 -£300
The Tohatsu is debatable as its now 6 years old, it may have been serviced and looked after very well, but until you know you have to air on the side of caution and consider it shot, so recon at best its worth 1 -1.5k ish.
The boat itself must be worth £1500 and if you sold that bottle rack that may claw back £50 or so.
All in all well worth the 2k asking price, if i had 2k floating about i'd consider buying it and resell it in the spring for a bit more money without touching it.
I'd suggest he carries the 4hp in the boat somewhere and trailers it in the current position, Ads is correct there is insufficent room on the transom to perm mount the aux like this.

To be honest, its been on ebay a couple of times and if he's listing it just before christmas he is obviously desperate to get some money for it. If I was interested in it I would forget ebay cos I can't see to many people bidding this time of year and drop him an email offering him £2500 for it and you should get a good boat for the money.
However, he may not of sold it because people have looked at it and its a pile of poo! I would go and look at it and make an offer if its what you want.

Sr4
There's also an SR4 just come up on boats and outboards, nothing like as high spec, so probably not so worth the money, but still worth a look - http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/view/F52021/
Engine doesn't look as good as the one on eBay, and I doubt it's Elec start, but Seariders do tend to get a good price anyway.
