I don't fancy that radar dome being so close to you head.

At this slow rate of progress Goodwin is going to sink under the shear weight of all the “ freebies” way before the end of this circumnavigation of Britain
Time for some action [emoji1303][emoji23]

Good point, I'm very interested to hear from those in the know.
But I can't help thinking Raymarine would have known the application.

Believe me, there is absolutely no danger from RADAR sets on small boats.
I have had two boats each with radars, one of which operated 3/4 inches from my head and I ran that boat for 8 years.
Raymarine or any other reputable manufacturer would not dare to endanger your health.
Just imagine the hoo-haa in the States if lawyers get hold of the mere whisper of a case.

I'm not sure if being able to watch him in real time takes some of the anticipation away from eagerly awaiting each new Youtube video to find out where he's got to.
Past Barrow-in-Furness now at 19kts is my today's spoiler.

The videos you mean.... yes from the start.
The tracking I've just looked at a couple of times since yesterday.

In the clyde now just nipped into millport on great cumbrae and tied the dinghy next to the boat but no signs of the occupants though. Wonder if their heading through the crinnan or round the mull

Good spot... first forum member to do so I think?
Beware though... you might get caught for buying them a lunch at this time of day.

We were safely back on our boat on a mooring before they left. If I'd seen him I'd have had a chat but I wasn't hanging about for an autograph[emoji6] the boat looks ropey close up though. Just shows you don't need to spend a fortune to do some big distances
