Seat and back rest covers

Thinking of giving this material a try for my seats and back rests, anybody used anything like this before and will it work?

I haven't yet but but the local dry suit manufacturer is about to re cover mine in something very much like it.....

My mates got it on his Rib. Looks and feels good, doesn’t get hot like leather in the summer
