Seats?

Well I'm thinking of getting some jockey seats for my boat!
I have in mined to put 2 single jockey seats behind the console with a bench seat behind that to replace my old box I have there, or just 2 double jockey seats but my kids are really too small for jockey seats!
Any thoughts & where to get them from?
Nick

I recon you could get a pair of side by sides behind the console seat. Pan right in the in the second picture to the fine craft moored on your starb'd side for some idea. Yours can't be much narrower than mine.
As to where, dare I say it, Leeway do some nice seats.

Hi, yes I had in mined putting them side by side, I have looked at leeway but I do like a lift up seat to use the space underneath!

Leeway do their seats with a waterproof hatch built in to the side, so the space is very usable, and you dont have to climb off them to reach inside.. very well made and a lot cheaper than the outhill jobbies

Trio mouldings at curbridge have all sorts of moulds including seat moulds. Bought my double jockeys from them.

Ring Roy Bishop, the new Osprey dealer for the UK. 01902 491919. Most of the Vipers were built without glassed in rear seats, as they were built mainly for the dive market, so unless you fancy a visit to the factory, it's a screw and Sikaflex job.

GRP pods from Osprey(They do doubles or singles) You'll need to send a colour sample as they did two shades of blue. Stainless backrests from Marine Fabrications (Mark 01543 670033), Upholstery from Mastertrim (Louie 01543 276111).

There's plenty of room as the Vipers a beamy boat. This is a 5.25m

make your own and get them exactly how you want them! I'm sure Leeway would make you some with removable seats if you wish.

Nasher (i think) came up with a design for his kids to sit on his jockeys. Some sort of foot strap arrangement.

hhhmm, I recognise that bit of quay in your second picture...many a beer has been had sat there

Leeway did me too single jockey bases for mine. I then added hatches for access and the seat pads.

Very competitive, well made and very helpful.

Can see the 2 singles on here, sorry for B&W grabbed from the cctv.

Cheers
