Had a grand day out with Mick at Seaworks yesterday despite the 5.30am start & 10.30pm return. Had a chat to various RIB related people, The Ribcraft Gang (thanks for the cheese), Dave Rose from Ribquest, Carl & Jacob-The Ullman brothers. BlaggedWas invited for a couple a couple of "Test Drives" one on a Swedish beast featuring the Ullman steering bar, (very very nice ) & twin Volvo Pentas. Thanks go to Ribcraft's Charlie for a late afternoon blast on the water in a 6.8 with a 200hp Suzi. Some very interesting products on display, well worth the visit. Even Arcadia made an appearance.

I guess you are a shy person otherwise you would have made yourself known and popped the question.
The rib is a SAR rib but SEARCH is the primary objective hence the console behind. The Lowrance equipment works in a network and the third crew member can use radar or GPS or structure scan to view what is under the rib especially when conducting the search. A FLIR camera for thermo imaging is yet to be installed a suitable bracket is fitted on the starboard side of the forward frame.

Have a look around the "maritime security" section, some handy "Anti-prod" kit in there, I tried to get some photos of that bit, but the gents in black looked a bit camera shy
