My mate has a, I think its, 460 Selva with a 50 HP Evinrude on the back.

Boat is well built and he bought it for a good price.

Bad point is its absolutely rubbish at sea. The weight is all at the back. So the two people at the back are ok but anyone sat in front of the console gets beaten to a pulp.

Even Selva admitted they got the design wrong.

Nick you got anymore details or pics of the boat.

Regards Biggles.

Thanks,

The one I am sort of interested in is similar to Selva D660c but has 2 x 100 hp Selva 2 strokes.

Both engines & hull made in 1999 with less than 200 hours on them.

Regards

Nick

Nick

Funny boats. Bought one in a pub in spain two years ago..in the middle of the afternoon...with 90 hp 3 cylinder 2 stroke. To the best of my knowledge engine is rebadged Yamaha.

Boat is pretty and ok for harbour fun . ....problem with Spanish coast line is that you get very heavy thermals in the afternoon and God help you if you have to drive upwind on the way home. Boat is not of sealed deck variety so all spray etc goes under floor into bilge which needs to be pumped with electric bilge pump. Needless to say a good stuffing would cause ajor problems for one of these boats.

that much said they look pretty on a good day.

Was talking to a bloke about a 100hp Selva 2 stroke the other day. I mentioned that it was a rebadged Yamaha but he told me this is only the 4 strokes. He said that the 2 strokes are actually made by Silva. Any truth in this?

Hi that boat looks like a bigger version of my mates.

Its a good price by the look of it, but make sure you take it for a test drive first in a testing sea state.

As i said my mates was good value for money if kept away from any sort of half decent wave.

Regards Nick R.
