semi synthetic 2 stroke oil?

I have a yamaha 200fetox with carbs and oil injection.
For the moment I use Yamalube semi synthetic 2 stroke oil.
I am told that fully synthetic 2 stroke oil smokes less and is also better for the engine.
Does anyone have experience with it?
And may fully synthetic oil be used for this engine?

Thanks in advance, Ignace

after shopping about a fair bit I bought a 20ltr drum of Exol 2 stroke oil last season for our 115 Yamaha and buying it wholesale worked out a fraction of the price of other oils and it meets the TCW spec. I think it came from somewhere in Northampton.

Exol 2 stroke on eBay at under £60 for 20lt but mineral oil not synthetic. That’s under half the price of yamalube Which is about £35 for 4l......

Shipping is often the issue so a local stockist and buying in bulk can be cheaper (if your using enough).
