It's an EFI model I've been quoted including parts and vat between £250 and £350. And turn around between a day and up to a week ? Not sure why it would be so different.

Our costs would be somewhere in the middle and there is no reason providing a problem is not stumbled upon during the service why it can't be done in a day.

66 quid plus some oil(engine and gearbox)...so being generous about 100 quid of stuff and I'd expect 30-40 quid an hour...for maybe two hours.......then if they have to plug it in to see if any fault codes etc...so it starts to add up...

So couple of hundred quid all in...?

I'd be cautious of using a firm at Skipton ! Blew mine up when it went for a routine service & charged me nearly £500 to get my boat & a box of bits back......

I've been quoted £484 for a 150hp four stroke Merc which includes labour and £150 parts.

Silly or about OK??

£280 for service including impeller on our Yam F115. Mornings work. Not too bad I thought? Ran sweet all year until the chuffin ecu went! Needs a cambelt change this year though. £100 plus the dreaded vat.

You cant go wrong with Mark at MJ Marine. Great guy. I have no connection other than he has serviced my Optimax's for the last 9 years - he knows what he's doing and fair prices.

Yorkshire, Humberside and Lincolnshires premier outboard dealer with 21 years experience. Sales service spare parts and repairs to most makes of outboard motor.
Don't be put off by the location!
