Sewing neoprene ...

I have tried various ways of providing some sort of protection/padding on the seat hoops, to prevent/reduce the chances of a passenger bumping head/face on the seat in front.

I have tried pipe lagging covered in various types of tape, but it does not look attractive or professional. I have a large quantity of 5mm neoprene as used for wetsuits and wonder how difficult it would be to make up into covers, using velcro.

Has anyone had any experience or recommend any person/company who might be able to make them up?

Regards
Steve

Steve, sounds a bit like the sort of pads which were on the top tube of BMX's in the late 80's? Something like this: http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/catego...ctor-09-34007/

Great ideas, the ebay ones are too small, need an internal diameter of 22mm.

The others look promising, but very little stock in UK, so have emailed the USA company to see what they can do for me.

Will also give O Three a call.

Thanks
Steve
