Has anyone had any experience shipping a rib from the UK to North America, the market is sooo much better across the pond. Specifically shipping to the east coast of Canada.
Should i even bother looking at ribs for sale over there as shipping will probably triple the price.
If anyone in NA has a boat for sale in the area i'm looking for a 7-8M rib
Need to contact a shipping agent to quote shipping goods by sea freight from overseas countries to Canada. Cheaper is to share container space costs with other importers. Will need to pay shipping costs, insurance fee, customs clearance costs and transportation from customs to your address.
I import Sib, Ribs from Korea and it's only 50% more of the factory cost to South America.
When I was based in Florida for a while I looked into this (UK to US). It's actually not that expensive. Talk to Peters and May - they specialise in this sort of thing. On a larger RIB it isn't a particularly large dent in your wallet.
