Shoebury firing range

Hi all.... As I will be heading out from the river crouch down to north Kent, the firing range tends to add an inconvenient distance to my trip. Has anyone had experience in crossing the outer area? I see the qinetiq website has a schedule posted up but not sure how reliable this is....

Cheers
Al.

According to the Almanac the firing range is usually active 0600 to 1700 Monday to Friday. You can phone the Range officer on 01702 383211 to check.

If you time it right you could access the Thames Estuary via Havengore creek. I have made this passage a couple of times but only very near to High tide (spring)
