Shoremaster extra heavy duty boat cover

Anyone else bought one of these grey boat covers off Hutt Imports on Ebay?
The ones I bought were not remotely UV resistant and 6 months later could be pulled apart with fingers. The fabric itself that is, not the stitching. It's a shame because:
1) Its a well built cover made from heavy 600 denier fabric- so why not make it cost a tenner more and make it out of an outdoor specific material?
2) I was so impressed (initially) with the first one, I bought another for my second boat. Predictably it also fell apart when it reached 6 months old. The knowing that I had given this company more money for yet another cover that would soon be useless was a frustration.
3) The eBay feedback can only be done in the first 45 days after purchase- these covers self destruct after this (not very long after this it turns out)

Hutt imports offered me a slight discount on another cover. Why on earth though would I buy another one of their duff covers?, I asked them. They went quiet at that point.

I have one that is 12 mths old , and last weekend while adjusting it split across the front through the material, its only seen about 5/6 months real use.

very disapointed as I to thought it was good first off.

I bought a Honda cover for my 3.8 Honwave when it was new. That only lasted 6-8 mths before falling apart. It seems that not many canvas type covers are UV protected.
