Still add £1k to that though. You're assuming the hull is sound too. Have you seen it?

That transom looks like it's got 2 unsealed holes in it (port side, outside) and there's no obvious engine bolt holes in it and looks like it's been repaired or messed with. Go and see it before committing to it.It could well be rotten or unsound.

I'm not trying to be pessimistic-I was interested in a 7m rib recently-same sort of thing-but after totting everything up,it just wasn't worth it.

Dunno if it was restricted to these but mine is a DR750 built 2004. All this history came from the original owner who sold her to me. I can vouch for the fact that when I ground into the cracks to put resin in there all I found was putty like gunge which I guess is Sikaflex so I can vouch for that part of the story for sure!
