Show me your SeaRider 5.4's!

I'm 1 week into retrofitting the 1991 I just picked up and think I have gone through about every searider post on this forum, the hull truth and a few other forums. I'm trying to figure out the best configuration for my boat and all the tick, trades and known issues that these boats have. 50HP Tohatsu engine.

Currently ripping out all the old wiring and gauges. Installing new fishfinders, tachometers, biminis, 24 gallon Aux fuel cells, back up trolling motor, pole holders, seats etc.... Need to clean and re-topcoat the hypalon and then sand and paint this weird green color bottom. etc..etc...etc...

Starting with this and I'll update along the way but I'd love to see all the 5.4's out there. Just 5.4's so I know spacing, design, seat positions etc.

Thanks!

The weird green colour bottom is the anti-fouling paint. It goes this colour because it has copper in it.

Is that the color it turns if it hasn't been repainted in a long time?

I like the orange color I've seen on a lot of these but I dont think that's part of this boats base color.

We would love to able to bring ours to some warm water!
I have found this forum is just brilliant at offering advice and real technical solutions to issues as you progress a design or vision.
The humour helps to bring a sense of reality to things too!
Our refurbished 5.4 m has worked well refurbishing and changing from Deluxe side by side seats to In-Line Jockey seats for inshore West of Scotland use.
Best wishes Iain
