Sikaflex 11FC

Hi Guys

Any Sikaflex or general adhesive experts out there.

I was in France last week and found a B&Q type superstore selling Sikaflex 11FC for as little as 4.39 Euro (where do they hide the Euro simple on a keyboard) per tube, about £3.50. (this was for 12 cases but a single case was 4.95 Euro and a single tube 5.90 Euro). Did a quick Google search when I got home and found several references to it saying that it was suitable for marine applications!

So a couple of questions, how does this differ from the £10.00 a tube stuff that I get from the chandlers? Is it going to be suitable for general work, bonding seats, sealing transom bolts etc? Any idea of a shelf life, if I buy a case now will it be OK for 12-18 months?

Andy
